Feng Jingchun, Liang Jianzhen, Zhang Si, Yang Zhifeng, Zhu Zhenchang

Strategic Study of CAE 2020, Volume 22, Issue 6,   Pages 67-75 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2020.06.009

Abstract:

The extreme environment in the deep sea gave birth to the largest ecosystem in the world that is far from known. The deepsea environment possesses a huge amount of biological resources with special functions. Exploitation equipment plays an important role in promoting the green, safe, and orderly development of the deep-sea biological resources. To clarify the characteristics and technical challenges of the equipment for deep-sea biological resources exploitation and explore its development directions and focus, we investigate the technical requirements of deep-sea biological resources exploitation, introduce the current status of the deep-sea biological resource exploitation equipment, and analyzes the challenges faced in the development of these equipment. To overcome the difficulties such as lack of unified standards, shortage of testing platforms, and deficiency in technology transformation, we propose several suggestions from the perspective of innovation system, general technology, transformation platform, and international cooperation, hoping to contribute to the sustainable development of the deep-sea biological resources from the equipment development perspective.

Time-series prediction based on global fuzzy measure in social networks

Li-ming YANG,Wei ZHANG,Yun-fang CHEN

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2015, Volume 16, Issue 10,   Pages 805-816 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500025

Abstract: Social network analysis (SNA) is among the hottest topics of current research. Most measurements of SNA methods are certainty oriented, while in reality, the uncertainties in relationships are widely spread to be overridden. In this paper, fuzzy concept is introduced to model the uncertainty, and a similarity metric is used to build a fuzzy relation model among individuals in the social network. The traditional social network is transformed into a fuzzy network by replacing the traditional relations with fuzzy relation and calculating the global fuzzy measure such as network density and centralization. Finally, the trend of fuzzy network evolution is analyzed and predicted with a fuzzy Markov chain. Experimental results demonstrate that the fuzzy network has more superiority than the traditional network in describing the network evolution process.

Observation of black carbon aerosol in Beijing, 2003

LOU Shujuan, MAO Jietai, WANG Meihua

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2007, Volume 1, Issue 3,   Pages 345-349 doi: 10.1007/s11783-007-0059-4

Abstract: The objective of this study was to determine the black carbon concentration in Beijing in 2003. The aerosol properties were measured using an Aethalometer and a tapered element oscillating microbalance (TEOM) on the roof of the Physics Building of Peking University (39.99º N, 116.31º E) from July to August 2003 and from November 2003 to January 2004. The average black carbon (BC) concentrations in the summer and winter were 8.80 and 11.4 μg/m, respectively. During winter, two different cyclone cut offs were installed at the inlet of an aethalometer. The BC mass concentration in TSP, PM, and PM were obtained. The results indicated that in winter aerosol, 90% of BC exited in PM and 82.6% of BC exited in PM. The BC in PM accounted for 5.11% of the PM mass.
